Training Services

A primary portion of our dog obedience training is educating YOU about your dog's behaviors and teaching you how to effectively change these behaviors. Each dog learns differently and has individual needs. Our creative dog training methods allow us to progress with every dog.

Our Classes

Every Class covers how to build a positive and balanced relationship between handler and dog with theory of marker training. This class will give you the skills to teach your dog all the basics and how to be a well mannered member of the family. We focus on helping you be the best handler you can be while communicating clearly, and understanding how your dog learns. Your dog will see value in engaging with you rather than getting distracted by the things in the environment.

Puppy Kindergarden

For puppies from 3 months to 8 months of age depending on breed. Unlike traditional puppy classes, our puppy training addresses the individual dog and stage of life that they are in.

We focus on creating a healthy owner-puppy relationship while building a great foundation for obedience. In this program, we will train your puppy on the following:

Sit
Down
Stay
Place
Heel
Introduction to recall
No jumping/biting

We have found that beginning the training process early on eliminates future issues by training the dog on good habits. Our trainers also take the time to educate puppy owners on proper dog handling, dog behavior, and general puppy knowledge.

Beginner Training

This is for our dogs that are a year or older. In this program, we teach the basics to your dog. Included in this program, your dog will learn the following:

Sit
Down
Stay
Place
Loose Leash Walking
Introduction to recall

We always work on the dog in front of us, and train based on their individual needs and milestones. We also train our clients on responsible dog ownership, and how to keep up with your dog training.

Intermediate Training

For dogs that have passed the puppy or basic obedience program, we offer intermediate and advanced obedience. This program introduces duration, distractions, and off-leash skills.

This training is essential for owners that are working towards CKC competitive obedience and the CKC Canine Good Neighbor test. It also great for the active pets and working dog handlers that want to have off leash hikes without worrying about if their dog will come back with called.

All dogs must pass basic training or pass an evaluation test to start in the Intermediate or Advanced Programs.

Board and Train

I now offer in home board in training. With a board and train program, your dog will stay in the comfort of my home where they will receive multiple training sessions through the day. Board and Train programs are great for:

Behavior Issues
Puppy Foundations
Owners with a busy work schedule
Continuing training while going on vacation

We ensure that you have the handling skills, and knowledge to keep up with your dog's training and continue building the relationship between you and your dog.

We start all board and trains with an initial consultation to get to know you and your dog, and discuss a program specific to your goals. Evaluations are $50, and training prices vary based on needs.
